VOICE Project Successfully Completes Work Package 3: Adaptation and Localisation of Training Courses for Ukrainian Refugees

Published on April 30, 2026

The VOICE project consortium is pleased to announce the successful completion of WP3, a key phase of the project focused on the adaptation and localisation of educational and employability training resources for Ukrainian refugees across Europe.

During WP3, project partners worked collaboratively to adapt existing training courses developed within previous European projects, including AXESS, DEEP, DEAL, REACT, and IDEA. Building on the needs analysis carried out during WP2, partners identified the main educational, professional, and integration needs of Ukrainian refugees and tailored the training content accordingly.

The adaptation process involved updating the learning materials to better respond to the specific context and challenges faced by displaced Ukrainian beneficiaries. Partners revised digital tools and resources included in the courses, updated examples and case studies, and aligned the content with the objectives and realities of the VOICE project.

As part of this process, the consortium ensured that the courses became more accessible, practical, and relevant for users seeking to improve their digital, professional, and employability skills in their host countries.

Following the finalisation of the training materials, all courses were translated into Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Ukrainian, ensuring multilingual accessibility and wider inclusion for beneficiaries across different countries.

A total of 13 training modules is now freely available through the VOICE project platform. Users can access the courses online at any time, free of charge and without registration, through the project OER platform: www.voice-inclusion.eu

The completion of WP3 represents an important milestone for the VOICE project and reinforces the consortium’s commitment to supporting the social and professional inclusion of Ukrainian refugees through innovative, accessible, and multilingual educational resources. The courses are also addressed to local communities, with the aim of fostering not only the labour market integration of refugees, but also their broader inclusion within the host society, promoting mutual understanding, participation, and social cohesion.
