On 20 July 2026, Fundacja Circle organised a VOICE Multiplier Event in Zielona Góra, Poland. The event, dedicated to the VOICE project – Vocational Opportunities and Integration for Refugee Community Empowerment, brought together 15 participants – employees of the local company DKD, which hosted the event at its premises.
During the meeting, participants learned about the objectives and results of VOICE, an international initiative co-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and implemented by seven partners from Spain, Italy, Poland and Belgium. The project supports the social and professional integration of Ukrainian refugees in Europe, while the educational resources it develops are also freely available to members of host communities.
An open educational platform for everyone
The central part of the event was a presentation of the VOICE OER platform, available at www.voice-inclusion.eu. The platform hosts 13 training modules in five languages: English, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Ukrainian, covering digital skills, entrepreneurship, employability and soft skills. All materials are free of charge, accessible without registration and available for download. Learners who complete a module and its self-assessment test receive a certificate of acquired skills.
Participants also took part in a testing session of two training modules: “Interacting Through Digital Technologies” and “Job Offer on Social Media”. The session was delivered in person and in Polish, working directly with the materials hosted on the platform. It formed part of the project's testing and validation phase, and the observations gathered will feed into the refinement of the resources before their wider dissemination.
Engaging local communities
Although VOICE focuses on supporting people displaced by the war in Ukraine, its resources are also addressed to citizens of host countries. This approach – refugees and local communities learning together – is one of the distinctive features of the project: it fosters mutual understanding, social cohesion and meaningful integration in the workplace and in everyday life.
The event in Zielona Góra is part of a wider dissemination campaign carried out by project partners across all consortium countries. Fundacja Circle will continue to promote the VOICE platform among organisations, institutions and employers interested in developing digital skills and supporting social inclusion.
